Interact donates money to UK Epilepsy Charity

4th September 2012 – Interact, a leading supplier in intelligent intranet software has announced that it will be donating money to the UK charity ‘Epilepsy Action’ from ticket sales for its UK intranet conference, Interaction 2012.
Five pounds from every ticket sold for the conference will be donated to Epilepsy Action – the largest member-led epilepsy organisation in Britain that acts as the voice for people with epilepsy and the many other people on whose lives the condition has an impact.

Mark Morton Digital Media Manager, commented:
“We’re honoured to be the official charity for Interaction 2012. Epilepsy Action is the UK’s leading epilepsy organisation and Interact’s kind donation will make a real difference to the advice and support we provide and the campaigning and research we do for people with epilepsy.”

Interact’s CEO and Founder, Nigel Danson comments:
“Epilepsy Action is a fantastic charity that does wonderful work for people with Epilepsy and I speak on behalf of everyone at Interact by saying we are delighted to be contributing to the organisation.
We hope that the money we donate will assist with the continuous work that Epilepsy Action strives to do every day and that our support will help to raise the profile of this brilliant charity.”

Interaction is the UK’s largest intranet focused event which promises to be even bigger this year with an estimated 180 delegates scheduled to attend on October 3rd, at the American Square Conference Centre in London. It gives attendees the opportunity to listen and network with global intranet experts including Martin White, James Robertson and Janus Boye, to acquire the knowledge necessary to achieve and implement an essential intranet.

Sponsored by Interact, CMS Wire and IBF the event will consist of a number of key-note sessions with global intranet experts, followed by dual streams of break-out sessions that attendees can select to join and the chance to view award winning intranets in action. The conference is open to intranet managers, communications and HR professionals, Interact Intranet users and everyone with an interest in intranets.
