The NBA is a global sports and media business that delivers entertainment to 215 countries and territories, in more than 50 languages. In addition to the sporting feats achieved on the court, the NBA is home to a large workforce who contribute towards the company’s phenomenal success.
While we are pleased with the results so far, there is more to be done. And as we look to the future, we feel excited and equipped – with Interact as our foundation – to continue enhancing Home Court and enriching the experience of NBA employees for years to come.
Challenges
With a global following to satisfy, employees required a fast and intuitive intranet to share information and stay informed. The previous intranet was based on SharePoint, which caused too many restrictions to make it viable for such a dynamic organization.
Solutions
Refreshed and overhauled, the new Interact version of Home Court is now the first place people go when they want to request tickets to a game, figure out how to change their Zoom background, or see what’s for lunch. Supported by senior leaders it is now front of mind whether working from home or in the office.
