We’re looking to add an accomplished sales leader to support and expand our growing sales teams in the US.  This person will have experience leading teams who sell complex solutions into IT, HR, Communications, and C-suite.  This person will lead growth by supporting the team in closing six and seven figure deals into large enterprises.

The VP of Enterprise Sales will report directly to the Chief Sales Officer and work closely with other members of the Senior Leadership Team.

A little about you...

  • 8+ years of SaaS/ technology sales experience at the enterprise level both individual contributor and leader
  • 5+ years direct sales experience and 3+ years of sales management experience
  • A natural leader with the experience and credibility to push an already accomplished group of sellers to new levels of success.
  • Strong business acumen with superb negotiation skills
  • Experience with consultative selling with client-direct sales
  • You’re hands on and love being in front of prospects, articulating our unique value propositions and help your team close more sales.
  • You aren’t a behind-the-scenes-CRM-jockey sales manager, but you are analytical and use data to inform your decisions.
  • You’re used to a complex, lengthy sales cycle with numerous stakeholders, sometimes with competing priorities.
  • You are a relationship builder and provide valuable insights to buyers and your team alike to establish lasting professional relationships internally and externally.
  • You are always learning and innovating - a student of the sales profession with practical knowledge and experience with a willingness to take risks and try new things. Any failure is a path toward eventual success, but you’re obsessed with winning.
  • You conduct yourself with integrity and accurately represent Interact in the market and build alliances internally, working closely with internal teams to drive the success of our company forward.

Your responsibilities

  • First-line sales leader with a team of 6-8 Account Executives
  • Development of a winning enterprise sales team including recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring
  • Accountable for a multi-million-dollar group target
  • Own the record-keeping and CRM for accurate forecasting and documentation with regular cadence of updates to and collaboration with the CSO.
  • Work with the CSO to identify new market opportunities, sales enablement strategies, and remove barriers to success
  • Active participation in the sales process
  • Travel required as necessary, when appropriate
  • This position will be based in either New York City area or Boston area

Development

Interact Academy

The Interact Academy is our in-house training programme designed to kick-start your training and development from your first day at Interact. You will meet with our CEO and senior managers to hear about our mission and values. You will also find out more about each department to learn how each one fits together and how your role works within them. Alongside this, you will complete your Interact Academy product and role-specific training to give you the tools to be successful in your role.

Product training

The Interact Academy will take you on a journey through our product, enabling you to gain an in-depth understanding of all of its features, users and benefits. You will follow a modular programme increasing in complexity to ensure in-depth understanding to assist you in being successful in your roles.

Role-specific training

As an Interact employee you will also receive in-depth role-specific training to ensure that you are fully knowledgeable about your role and how to make it a success.
